Detergent Free Cleaning
Detergents are made up of dozens of chemicals each one potentially more dangerous than the last. These include but are not limited to phosphates, bleaches, phthalates, petrochemicals and synthetic surfactants which are all toxic to not only human life but also damaging to the world we live in.
Bleach for example once in contact with organic matter can release harmful carcinogens which are one of the causes of cancer. Synthetic surfactants once absorbed by the skin can cause damage to your kidneys, liver, heart and even the nervous system.
We already use so many chemicals in the home, but if you're having someone to clean potentially 1000's of square feet of carpet or upholstery you and your family are going to be sitting on, please make sure the chemicals used to clean are detergent free (DFC) even if you have to ask to see them.
